III. International Congress of Anthropological Sciences

Call for the Congress “The Centenary of Anthropology in Türkiye”

The 3rd International Congress of Anthropological Sciences, organised to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Anthropology in Türkiye, aims to create a scientific platform that will carry the discipline further. Our congress aims to contribute to current research in the sub-branches of anthropology by providing an in-depth discussion environment on fundamental topics such as human history, cultural diversity, biological evolution and social structures.

This special year, which is an important milestone in the development of Turkish anthropology, offers a unique opportunity to both evaluate the historical course of the discipline and discuss current studies from around the world. Our congress is open to all researchers who want to address the scientific foundations of anthropology and its socio-cultural and biological contexts from a multidisciplinary perspective.

During the congress, it is aimed to share qualified studies produced in different fields of anthropology, discuss innovative approaches and encourage interdisciplinary collaborations. Participants will be given the opportunity to introduce their own research and contribute to the scientific community.

This event, which will be enriched with presentations and panels covering a wide range of topics from biological anthropology to paleontology, from forensic anthropology to cultural anthropology, from archaeology to ethnography, will also provide a unique environment to meet and share experiences with leading anthropologists from Türkiye and the world.

We invite all researchers who want to follow current developments in the field of anthropology, produce new ideas and strengthen academic collaborations to our congress. Your participation will make valuable contributions to both your individual studies and the development of the discipline.
